June 20: FOUR MORE DAY!!!

WOW! I can't believe we are at the end of our year together! I know we still have four more days left... and I can hear a sigh of relief from parents! (It is relief right?) Just a few reminders about the next couple of days:

• FRIDAY: Step Up Day -- Students will be meeting both Miss Losito and Miss Kranabetter for an hour.

• MONDAY: Meeting our penpals from St. Bernadette. They will be arriving at the school at 10:30 for a few activities at CCS.
  -- We will leave for Cloverdale Athletic Park at 12:00 and return by 2:30.
  --If you are walking with us, please be at the school by11:50am. We will bring our lunches and eat at the park. Please ensure that your child has a towel and change of clothes.
  --Grade 3F students are allowed to wear regular clothes to school that day.
  --I am also asking that our students bring some snacks to share with the group (Fruits, Veggies, Chips, Treats). Please email me or write a note in your child's planner so I know what to expect!

•  TUESDAY: A FREE lunch will be provided for our class. I took your child's order today for a hot dog, chips and juice. Please ensure that they have a snack.

• WEDNESDAY: LAST DAY! EARLY DISMISSAL AT 12:00 PM.

June 5: Field Trip Reminders

Our most awaited trip to the Vancouver Zoo is almost here!

Here are a few things to remember:

- We leave the school at 9am on Friday morning, so please be at school at the regular time and do not be late! If the class has left already, please check in at the office.

- We are going rain or shine, so please be prepared for the weather. They are predicting showers on Friday and we will be outdoors all day! Rain boots and umbrellas may come in handy. Pray for sunshine! Or at least just clouds!

- Students are to wear a FULL uniform, that includes their red vests or sweaters. Please make sure that all the clothing are labelled (including any boots, umbrellas, etc. that they are bringing.)

- Send a disposable bagged lunch. That means it should be in bags and containers that can be thrown out. Students are NOT allowed to purchase lunch due to allergies in the classes. PARENTS WHO ARE JOINING US, PLEASE DO NOT PURCHASE FOOD FOR YOUR GROUPS.

-There is a gift shop at the Zoo, students are allowed to bring along some money, but they are to be responsible for the amount they bring.

We are looking forward to the trip! Thank you for helping us keep all the kids safe :)

June 24-- Field Trip to Cloverdale Athletic Park with our penpals from St. Bernadette :)
               I will ask for food contributions (such as fruits, veggies, juice boxes, chips, etc) to 
               share with our penpals. We will also need parents to walk to the park and supervise 
               with me.
June 26-- LAST DAY ****12:00 DISMISSAL****
